Diademed Roman style head to right within beaded square, his eyes raised to heaven; around beaded square; 'ibn Alpi ibn Tirmurtash ibn il-Ghazi ibn Artuq' in Kufic. Rev. 'Il-Ghazi / li-Mawlana al-Malik al'Alim / al-adil Qutb al-Din / Malik al-Umara Shah / Diyarbakr' in five lines in Kufic. Spengler & Sayles 31.1. Sharply struck and attractive. The obverse somewhat double struck, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
